Pat Patterson has been working with Internet technologies since 1997, building software and working with developer communities at Sun Microsystems, Huawei Technologies and Salesforce. At Sun, Pat was the community lead for the OpenSSO open source project, while at Huawei he worked on cloud storage infrastructure software. Since joining the developer evangelism team at Salesforce in 2010, Pat has worked with all aspects of the Salesforce1 Platform, focusing on identity, integration and IoT. Recently Pat created what is perhaps the most fun, and certainly the most unexpected, demonstration of the power of APIs in his integration of Salesforce with Minecraft.
